By subscribing to Getting Code Done ("the newsletter"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't subscribe.

What You Get

- Top 5 tech news stories with commentary
- Market observations and honest takes
What It Costs
The newsletter is currently free. If we introduce a paid tier in the future, existing free subscribers will be notified and can choose to upgrade or remain on the free tier.
Your Responsibilities
As a subscriber, you agree to:
- Provide a valid email address
- Not use the newsletter content for spam or unsolicited marketing
- Not share newsletter editions publicly without permission
- Not attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse our services
Our Content
Job Listings
- Job listings are curated from public sources
- Salary estimates are based on public data (Glassdoor, levels.fyi, etc.)
- We are not responsible for job listing accuracy or availability
- We are not involved in hiring decisions or employment relationships
- Apply to jobs at your own discretion
Commentary and Opinions
- All commentary represents personal opinions
- We strive for honesty but make no guarantees of accuracy
- Tech news summaries are our interpretation of public information
- Do your own research before making career or financial decisions
Intellectual Property
- Newsletter content (text, design, curation) is owned by Getting Code Done
- You may read and reference newsletter content personally
- Don't republish entire editions without permission
- Linking to our archive pages is encouraged

Subscription and Cancellation

- Confirmation email will be sent
- You can unsubscribe anytime

- You can re-subscribe anytime
We May Unsubscribe You If:
- Your email bounces repeatedly
- You violate these terms
- You mark our emails as spam (please just unsubscribe instead)
Future Monetization
In the future, we may introduce:

- Premium subscription tiers
- Company job board features
Free subscribers will be notified of any changes. Your subscription won't automatically convert to paid without your explicit consent.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued subscription after changes means you accept the new terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Discontinue the newsletter at any time
- Modify the format or frequency
- Remove subscribers who violate these terms
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with US law.
